As an artist whose pratice spans a variety of media, Kadrah Mensah was intrigued upon the discovery of Ryerson’s New Media program. Now in her third year, she focuses on the intersection of art and technology through interactive installation art, remix culture, and internet culture. She has assisted in various art projects which have been displayed at institutions such as TIFF Bell Lightbox’s digiPlaySpace and the Ontrio Science Centre.ditor and writer, she contributes to Polka Magazine, The New York Times Lens Blog, TIME Lightbox, The British Journal of Photography, and others. She’s a member of the Boreal Collective and is currently working on Virtual Aamjiwnaang, an interactive storytelling platform befitting of Indigenous practices.
