As an artist, creative director and producer, Alex Mayhew has established himself as an internationally renowned creator of highly innovative and emotionally compelling digital experiences

From multi-award winning Ceremony of Innocence created for Peter Gabriel, to Beethoven’s Hair, and Time Tremors, to his work with MIT and the Royal Shakespeare Company, to the game changing augmented reality art show ReBlink, Alex continues leads creative and technology teams to innovate category defining projects across different delivery numerous channels.

Along with business partner Ian Kelso, Alex launched Impossible Things in 2016, an award-winning mixed reality company based in Toronto. They combine computer vision, artificial intelligence, animation, game design and great storytelling to create rich immersive experiences that close the gap between the virtual and the real.  They specialize in creating high quality and meaningful augmented reality experiences that engage on a visceral level. Their work has attracted the attention of Apple’s Tim Cook, gained much international recognition from the press and been cited by various technology and media experts as being world leading pioneers in their field.
